Big fancy dress-up ticket dinner tonight for the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival. As Hubs pointed out (and I was just teasing him), "So I have to take you out somewhere fancy and expensive. Well, you never said I had to pay for it!"


Notice in a bunch of the music photo archive that so many of the artists are smoking. Billie Holiday is even holding a cigarette while singing. How did she do it? And Miles Davis? Who has the lung capacity? Hubs plays trumpet and had tried to teach me. To much exhaustion and skreeking and skronking I about passed out just blowing on the mouthpiece.
