Holy Roman Empire

Radiohead from the pit in Dallas, 2008. It was awesome.

The Liars, not really my bag, baby.

What's pretty intense that Hubs and I realized is that he's been listening to RH for like 14 years (and me the same although I wasn't really into Pablo Honey so much but I had the cassette singles and tapes. Tapes, ha!) and we're floating in a crowd mixed of 30 + year olds desperately clinging to their youth, mid-20 year olds like us partially clinging to their youth, and then a sea of teenage to 20 somethings smiling at us bc we're so old and isn't that cute. I had no game with these kids. The clothes were amazing and I think I used to dress that way. Pot and drink were passed around and I think that used to be me. The boys were prettier than the girls. Some things never change. That's the first big concert I've been to in a long while. I was glad we were there as such a big group and that we got to see Ambler and Chris. That really made it. She was always my concert galpal back in the good ole days.

Ha. I'm so glad to be getting older. My life, good as it's been, only gets better with time.
