Have you ever wondered how the world is going to end?
Sometimes I do. And this is the song that will be running through my mind the whole time.
Andwhatreallyistime.

but that's not the way it feels
I love how hippy Arkansas is. So conservative and yet, so hippy!
A group of us went to Mountain View

and the White River for Fellowship of the Trout Whisperer this past weekend. On the way up there, Hubs and I drove by this place: Shitake Mushroom Farm? Don't mind if I do! (except that sadly, it's closed)

Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids
This. I'm just so sad. Warning: Possibly not safe for work. But if you read this with any regularity, you know nothing is. Possibly.
Watched Dustin Hoffman and Roy Schieder in The Marathon Man last night. It was really good! So suspenseful in that way 70s movies were. They didn't give you everything and it just made you want more, want more.
Finishing The Color Purple tonight. Then going to start reading A Mercy by Toni Morrison. I'm really looking forward to that. Also, REALLY really looking forward to this, the new one from Margaret Atwood. Almost like a sequel to Oryx and Crake (which was sooooo good).
Husband is reading Aldous Huxley's A Brave New World. I love it when we get on the same SciFi page together.

Barrett, have you read Oryx and Crake yet?

you show me something beyond my looking glass
Ha ha. Okay. I am obviously so ready for the weekend. Trout Whisperer, here I come!
The Peach one is my favorite, but the Diddy Kong one made me laugh the hardest, mostly because, well, just say "Diddy Kong" out loud and you'll know what I mean.
Rock n' Roll cancer research fundraiser tonight. Gonna spike up my eyelashes and wear my leather. Rolling Stones cover band, here I come!

Flesh for Fantasy
One of my all time favorite Sopranos episodes was on this morning. Naturally I watched it instead of the news.
My favorite scene starts at 30 sec mark. "This guy was an interior decorator." "Huh, his house looked like shit."
